Job Description:
H-E-B operates more than 280 pharmacies across Texas and employs over 800 pharmacists. As a Pharmacy Care Representative, you’ll join a dedicated team that supports prescription services, assists with immunizations and screenings, and delivers exceptional customer care.
You’ll support pharmacists and technicians in processing prescriptions, managing pharmacy inventory, ensuring compliance, and engaging directly with customers. This is an ideal role for those passionate about healthcare, teamwork, and community service.
Responsibilities:
Customer Service & Patient Care:

Assist patients with drop-offs, pickups, and prescription processing using RXEVO

Provide exceptional service and maintain HIPAA confidentiality

Help with prescription refills, POS transactions, and filing

Support vaccine coordination, flu shot scheduling, and medication therapy events
Inventory & Operations:

Receive and stock OTC inventory

Maintain prescription will-call and return-to-stock areas

Record fridge/freezer logs and support general pharmacy organization
Compliance & Safety:

Adhere to pharmacy SOPs, HIPAA, TSBP rules

Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and compliant work environment
Requirements:

Minimum age: 18

High school diploma or equivalent
-
Retail or pharmacy experience preferred

Ability to stand for long periods and lift 30+ lbs

Must complete required certifications (HIPAA, RXEVO, PCR, etc.)

Strong communication, math, PC, and multitasking skills

Ability to work nights, weekends, and rotating shifts
