We’re seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Benefits Manager who is passionate about supporting employees and enhancing their experience. This role plays a key part in managing benefits administration, leave of absence programs, and compliance with federal and state regulations in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily benefits administration, including enrollments, terminations, and plan updates (medical, dental, vision, 401(k), FSA, and voluntary benefits)

Serve as the primary liaison with brokers and benefits vendors to ensure a smooth and effective employee experience

Manage leave of absence programs including FMLA, short- and long-term disability, and personal leaves

Maintain detailed records and timelines; communicate clearly with employees and managers

Administer COBRA notifications and ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements

Act as the go-to expert for employee benefit inquiries

Facilitate benefit education sessions, open enrollment meetings, and one-on-one employee support

Conduct audits and ensure accuracy in benefits reporting and documentation

Continuously evaluate and improve benefits offerings using data insights and employee feedback
Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in employee benefits administration

Strong understanding of FMLA, COBRA, and disability leave protocols

Proficient with HRIS platforms and benefits administration systems

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong sense of empathy

High attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and a proactive approach
