About the Role

We’re looking for a skilled and proactive Bicycle Mechanic to help maintain our fleet of bikes and e-scooters. Whether you’re performing full strip-downs or quick on-street repairs, your role is essential in ensuring our riders enjoy a smooth, safe journey every time.

Your Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled and ad hoc maintenance on bikes and e-scooters

  • Complete full strip-downs, rebuilds, and major or minor mechanical repairs

  • Prioritise safety in the workshop and raise any concerns

  • Work to Beryl’s standards to ensure every vehicle is customer-ready

  • Use the Beryl app to log maintenance and repairs accurately

  • Assist the product team with the assembly and servicing of in-house IoT hardware

  • Follow guidance from senior mechanics and continually develop your skills

  • Maintain general workshop cleanliness and adhere to safety protocols

  • Conduct occasional on-street repairs and support the street operations team as needed

  • Collaborate with your local depot and contribute to national best practices

Skills & Qualifications

  • Solid background in mechanical maintenance (experience with bikes preferred)

  • Genuine interest in bicycles and micromobility

  • Willingness to work flexible, rotational shifts

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • A full, clean UK driving licence is preferred
