Position: Bilingual Receptionist (English & French)

Location: Downtown Toronto (Bloor & Yonge)

Salary: $30 per hour

Job Type: 1 to 2-month contract

Our client is looking for a Bilingual Receptionist (English & French) to assist with managing the reception desk, ordering catering, switchboard, and other administrative duties.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

– Welcoming and greeting clients, answering phone calls that come through the main switchboard

– Providing exceptional customer service to visitors

– Managing and following up on work flow through the front reception area including boardroom, and kitchen area

– Boardroom scheduling for numerous boardrooms and processing courier packages and catering requests

– Maintaining office supplies, including kitchen

– Performing administrative tasks as requested

– Liaising with vendors, clients and staff to represent the organization in a highly professional manner

– Executing other responsibilities as required

Credentials:

– Postsecondary degree or related – a definite asset

– Bilingual (English and French Fluency)

– At least 3+ years of reception or reception/administrative experience in a professional corporate environment – ideal

– Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

– Ability to handle multiple calls using phone system

– Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills

– Great attitude, ability to prioritize and juggle multiple priorities

– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, pro-active attitude

– Ability to work well within a team environment and independently

– Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
