Job Summary
TruBridge is seeking a Billing & Posting Resolution Provider to support our complete business office services. In this role, you will serve as a liaison between TruBridge and client hospitals or clinics, ensuring accurate claim submission, denial management, and collections follow-up for hospital, hospital-based physician, and clinic services. This position is essential in maintaining the financial health of our clients through effective billing operations and insurance reimbursement processes.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare and submit claims to third-party insurance carriers (electronically or by paper) for hospital, hospital-based physician, and clinic services.

Follow up with payers to ensure timely claim resolution; pursue outstanding balances until paid or transitioned to self-pay.

Review and resolve rejected or denied claims, making necessary corrections and resubmitting as needed.

Secure and submit required medical documentation for claim support.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payer guidelines and billing regulations.

Interpret Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and take appropriate billing actions.

Manage claim denials and appeals to ensure maximum reimbursement.

Collaborate with Billing Manager/Supervisor to identify and resolve reimbursement challenges.

Review late charge reports, readmission overlaps, and credit reports; process corrections, write-offs, or split billing as per payer and client policies.

Meet or exceed productivity and quality standards as defined by the department.

Participate in team projects and assist with high-profile or complex billing processes.

Ensure strict confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA standards.
Qualifications
Required Education & Experience:

Minimum 3 years of recent experience in Critical Access or Acute Care facility billing or 3 years of physician billing experience

Medicare billing experience is required

Proficiency with CPT and ICD-10 coding

Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare billing systems

Ability to communicate professionally with insurance payers

Experience with denial management and claim appeals processes

Strong understanding of EOBs and insurance guidelines

Proven ability to handle confidential information responsibly
