Position Overview:
We’re seeking a Billing Assistant who is detail-oriented, organized, and enthusiastic about contributing to a compassionate and high-functioning administrative team. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and smooth flow of our billing and insurance operations.
Primary Responsibilities:

Verify insurance benefits for new and existing clients

Submit insurance claims accurately and on time

Process client payments and keep financial records current
Additional Duties:

Conduct insurance follow-up calls to resolve claims

Respond to billing-related client inquiries via phone/email
-
Assist therapists with billing or insurance concerns
-
Support the Billing Manager and Admin Leadership as needed
What You’ll Bring:

Minimum 1 year of experience in billing, insurance verification, or healthcare admin (mental health experience a plus)

Friendly and professional demeanor with a keen eye for detail

Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced setting

Excellent communication (written and verbal)

Comfort using computers, email, and phone systems

Familiarity with Medicare and commercial plans is a plus

Must be able to work on-site in Manalapan and/or Shrewsbury, NJ
