Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Billing Specialist to manage and process accurate billing for our home care services. This position plays a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance with payer guidelines, and timely reimbursements. You’ll work closely with HR, scheduling, and third-party billing systems to maintain service accuracy and support smooth payroll processing.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare, review, and submit accurate billing for home care services.

Verify authorizations, service codes, and documentation for compliance.

Reconcile and resolve billing discrepancies and claim denials.

Maintain up-to-date billing records and client files.

Collaborate with HR and scheduling teams to ensure accurate service tracking.

Follow up with payers, clients, and third-party systems.

Ensure timely claims submission according to payer requirements.

Process payroll accurately and efficiently.
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in accounting or related field preferred.

1–2 years of billing experience (preferably in healthcare or home care).

Familiarity with Medicaid, Managed Care Organizations (MCOs), and private pay billing.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with HHAeXchange or similar systems is a plus.

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
