Job Overview

We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to support revenue cycle management within our communities. This role is responsible for billing, payment processing, customer service, and accounts receivable reporting. You’ll work closely with residents, families, and internal teams to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant financial operations.


Responsibilities

  • Reconcile daily census data, including discharges, room changes, payer updates, and LOAs, in Point Click Care (PCC).

  • Manage private pay billing, insurance verifications, and re-verifications (Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, and Commercial).

  • Process recurring charges, deposits, appeals, statements, claims, and cash postings.

  • Review and ensure accuracy of NOMNC and ABN forms for SNF residents.

  • Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly financial reports.

  • Support new admission account setup and QA process.

  • Provide billing support and customer service to residents and families.

  • Participate in meetings (daily stand-up, Medicare, Triple Check) and recommend process improvements.

  • Train and support business office or accounting staff as needed.

  • Collaborate with executive directors and financial teams to ensure compliance and efficiency.


Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (or equivalent work experience).

  • Minimum 2 years of AR experience, preferably in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF).

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Point Click Care (PCC) preferred.

  • Notary certification is a plus.
