Role Overview

As a Power Billing Senior Specialist, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring timely, accurate, and complete billing for our power business. This position directly impacts the customer experience and requires strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills. You’ll manage exceptions, resolve billing-related issues, handle special billing requests, and ensure accurate revenue recognition.

This is a fast-paced role that requires expanded knowledge of power billing processes, advanced calculations, and a strong commitment to accuracy and efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

  • Review, investigate, and resolve daily billing exceptions from reports, customer inquiries, and internal communications.

  • Ensure accurate and timely invoices while addressing audit exceptions.

  • Manage offline bill models, monthly indexes, and COGs mapping.

  • Resolve customer billing issues quickly and effectively.

  • Execute and comply with Key Controls in line with risk compliance standards.

  • Identify process improvements to enhance billing accuracy and efficiency.

  • Support cross-functional projects and other assigned duties.


Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business, OR 4 years of equivalent industry experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of energy industry experience preferred.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to multi-task in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.


Working Conditions

  • Work Environment: Office or fully remote options available.

  • Travel: 0% expected.

  • Schedule: Some overtime may be required for special projects.
