Role Overview
As a Power Billing Senior Specialist, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring timely, accurate, and complete billing for our power business. This position directly impacts the customer experience and requires strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills. You’ll manage exceptions, resolve billing-related issues, handle special billing requests, and ensure accurate revenue recognition.
This is a fast-paced role that requires expanded knowledge of power billing processes, advanced calculations, and a strong commitment to accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities

Review, investigate, and resolve daily billing exceptions from reports, customer inquiries, and internal communications.

Ensure accurate and timely invoices while addressing audit exceptions.

Manage offline bill models, monthly indexes, and COGs mapping.

Resolve customer billing issues quickly and effectively.

Execute and comply with Key Controls in line with risk compliance standards.

Identify process improvements to enhance billing accuracy and efficiency.

Support cross-functional projects and other assigned duties.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business, OR 4 years of equivalent industry experience.
Preferred Qualifications:

2+ years of energy industry experience preferred.
Skills & Abilities:

Strong analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to multi-task in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions

Work Environment: Office or fully remote options available.
