Job Overview
Gulf Coast Industrial, a subsidiary of ASRC Industrial (AIS), is hiring a Blaster/Painter for a maintenance project in Freeport, TX. This position offers a pay range of $22–$26 per hour, working 5 days a week, 10 hours per day (5/10’s). No per diem is provided.

Key Responsibilities

Apply industrial coatings to tanks, piping, and structures per specifications

Mix coatings and operate blasting/spray equipment safely and effectively

Maintain clean and safe work areas, including managing hazardous waste

Lead and guide helper/laborer staff

Perform quality control checks and complete related documentation

Construct enclosures to prevent overspray
Requirements
-
Minimum 2 years of industrial blasting/coating experience

Proficient in operating at 100 psi nozzle pressure and even spray application

Experience with various coatings (epoxy, urethane, polyester, vinyl ester)

Familiarity with rigging and safety regulations
-
Understanding of QA/QC and hazardous waste protocols
Travel
Work is primarily at one location, with occasional travel to job sites as needed.
