Summary
Responsible for overseeing the school’s financial operations, including p-card transactions, receivables, payables, deposits, budget monitoring, financial reporting, and providing customer service for financial transactions.
Essential Duties

Manage purchasing, accounts receivable/payable, cash handling, and deposits.

Reconcile and monitor budgets for general, athletic, pupil, mill levy, and grant accounts.

Provide customer service to staff, students, parents, and vendors.

Process invoices, student fees, refunds, and financial paperwork.

Assist with payroll-related tasks and substitute pay when needed.

Maintain accurate records, prepare journal entries, and ensure compliance with district policies.
Education & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent required.

4+ years of general clerical experience.

2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.

Associate’s degree in accounting or related coursework preferred.

Student information systems experience preferred.
Licenses & Certifications

Criminal background check required.
Budget/Resource Responsibility

Responsible for reconciling and monitoring school budgets/accounts.

May train and supervise CTE students.

All classified positions are hourly. New hires start at Step 1. Placement up to Step 8 possible depending on experience.
