Branch Leader – Key Responsibilities
As a Branch Leader, you will work closely with Service Leads, Lead Practitioners, and frontline colleagues, supported by our Senior Leadership Team. Your primary focus will be ensuring exceptional service delivery while meeting key performance and quality indicators. Responsibilities include:
- Leadership & Strategy – Implement and support Cornerstone’s strategic plan, ensuring the highest standard of care and service excellence.
- Operational Management – Oversee local business development, establish key partnerships with HSCPs, housing associations, and other MDTs, and act as the first point of contact for referrals.
- Quality & Compliance – Ensure all services meet regulatory requirements and best practices while fostering an empowered and engaged workforce.
What You Need to Succeed as a Branch Leader
- Proven experience in health & social care.
- Strong leadership skills in managing a branch, division, or care service.
- Business acumen in planning, networking, reporting, and income generation.
- Ability to attract new customers, secure contracts, and lead successful tenders.
- Knowledge of statutory regulations and best practices in social care.
- Excellent communication and financial management skills.
Preferred: SVQ Level 8/9 in a relevant discipline or equivalent management qualification.
