About the Job: Brand Manager, THC Beverage

The Brand Manager will be pivotal in developing and executing brand strategies for our THC-infused beverage brand(s). You’ll focus on boosting brand visibility, fostering consumer loyalty, and expanding market presence, all contributing to our mission of delivering unique and memorable brand experiences. You’ll collaborate with various internal teams to launch beverage-specific brand initiatives, manage marketing campaigns, and drive engagement across diverse consumer touchpoints.

This is a hybrid position based in our Chicago, IL office, requiring up to 50% travel.


Responsibilities

Brand Strategy & Development

  • Assist in developing and executing a compelling beverage brand positioning strategy that deeply resonates with our target audience.
  • Contribute to planning and launching brand initiatives to significantly increase visibility and strengthen brand presence.
  • Support maintaining consistent brand messaging across all consumer touchpoints, ensuring alignment with broader brand standards.

Campaign & Activation Management

  • Support the creation and management of brand communications across all owned channels, including social media, web, and point-of-sale (POS)/merchandise.
  • Assist in designing and executing impactful consumer-facing marketing campaigns, such as in-store activations and digital promotions.
  • Collaborate with Brand and Events teams to activate the beverage brand at events, retail locations, and other experiential opportunities.
  • Coordinate with creative agencies and internal teams to ensure seamless campaign delivery and engagement.

Market Research & Insights

  • Assist in conducting thorough market analysis to monitor consumer preferences, emerging trends, and competitor activity within both the THC and broader beverage categories.
  • Help generate actionable insights to inform strategic decisions and identify significant growth opportunities.
  • Monitor and report on brand performance, including consumer perception and campaign effectiveness.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Trade Marketing, Sales, and Compliance teams to ensure all marketing initiatives align with brand standards and regulatory guidelines.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain consistent brand messaging and consumer experiences.
  • Support training initiatives for the sales team to ensure complete alignment with brand knowledge and key messaging.

Budget & Resource Management

  • Assist in managing the brand marketing budget, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently to maximize campaign return on investment (ROI).
  • Track spending and ensure alignment with marketing objectives and company financial targets.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (preferred).
  • 4+ years of experience in brand management or marketing, preferably within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry.
  • Strong understanding of marketing, brand development, and consumer engagement strategies.
  • Ability to manage projects and execute campaigns effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.
