Overview
The Department of Surgery at Creighton University Medical Center – CHI Health is seeking a skilled and motivated Breast Surgical Oncologist to join our Division of Breast Oncology Surgery. The role combines high-quality patient care, academic teaching, and research in Nebraska’s only triple-accredited Breast Health Center.
This position provides opportunities to collaborate within a multidisciplinary setting, teach future surgeons at Creighton University School of Medicine, and engage in clinical and translational research at the Creighton Henry Lynch Cancer Center.
Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive breast oncology surgical care in an academic and award-winning Breast Health Center

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including oncology, plastic surgery, and primary care

Participate in surgical education, mentorship, and training of medical students and residents

Engage in scholarly work, including clinical trials and collaboration with translational/basic science researchers

Utilize advanced technology, including AI-assisted mammography

Report to the Division Chief of Breast Surgical Oncology and CHI Health Chair of Surgery
Qualifications

Fellowship in Breast Surgery required

Board Certified/Board Eligible in General Surgery (or related specialty)

Eligible for or holding a Nebraska state medical license

Strong interest in teaching, clinical excellence, and research

Salary: $216 – $230/hour (competitive salary guarantee)
