Job Overview Summary
This position supports the Business Analytics and Reporting function within the Data Sciences: Analytics & Reporting team at Advarra. The Business Analytics team aims to provide data-driven insights that enhance decision-making and resource allocation in alignment with business goals and budget constraints.
The role involves assisting Advarra in achieving its objectives by developing and maintaining key deliverables, analyzing data, and performing ad-hoc analyses. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of business, systems, and technical challenges while demonstrating problem-solving skills and issue resolution capabilities. Success in this role requires exceptional attention to detail, a broad perspective on organizational goals, strong analytical abilities, and excellent documentation skills. Additionally, the candidate must be able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Adhere to Business Analytics standard operating procedures (SOPs) and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Develop core Business Analytics skills, including gathering requirements through interviews, document analysis, workshops, surveys, process descriptions, use cases, and workflow analysis.
- Design and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau.
- Demonstrate a strong customer-focused approach.
- Ensure team accountability for deliverables, project milestones, and overall performance.
- Share insights and collaborate with peers and colleagues.
- Identify and escalate data-related issues and risks that may impact customers.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 0-3 years of experience in Business Analytics.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Tableau.
- Familiarity with Trifacta.
