About the Role

Molina Healthcare is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to support data-driven decision-making and process improvements across healthcare operations. In this role, you will analyze complex business problems using internal and external data, identify trends, create forecasts, and recommend strategic actions. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop insights, prepare user documentation, and ensure compliance with industry regulations.

This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in managed care and business analysis who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and interpret business data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.

  • Construct forecasts, recommendations, and strategic/tactical plans to support decision-making.

  • Review, research, and evaluate data to address operational and compliance needs.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design, tailor, or modify reports and analytics.

  • Conduct root cause analysis and support problem resolution related to state requirements.

  • Assess business workflows and system needs during conversions or migrations.

  • Prepare user documentation and training materials for end users.

  • Execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate system functionality and data accuracy.

  • Work with 834 files and enrollment data to ensure accuracy and compliance.

  • Present problem statements, analysis results, and actionable solutions to leadership.


Required Qualifications

  • Education: Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Experience:

    • 3–5 years of business analysis experience.

    • 4+ years in managed care.

    • Strong understanding of business workflows, compliance, and healthcare operations.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

  • 1–3 years of formal training in Business or Systems Analysis.

  • Proficiency in advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, intermediate formulas).

  • Intermediate SQL knowledge to run queries for analysis, validation, and reporting.

  • Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in fast-paced environments.
