Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in public health data exchange projects to join our team. This role is focused on enhancing data integration workflows and supporting state-level public health initiatives. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise with Rhapsody Integration Engine, healthcare messaging standards (HL7, FHIR), and SQL development. Candidates must be based in Idaho, with the ability to work remotely.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and optimize public health data exchange workflows.

Develop, configure, and troubleshoot Rhapsody Integration Engine interfaces including message transformation.

Conduct requirements analysis to support workflow and integration improvements.

Perform SQL development and troubleshooting tasks; work with Oracle databases (PL/SQL knowledge a plus).

Configure and manage IIS (Internet Information Services).

Provide Windows Server administration support.

Apply knowledge of NBS/NEDSS systems and public health workflows.

Support data exchange using HL7 and FHIR standards.

Work with healthcare vocabularies and coding systems: LOINC, SNOMED, ICD-10-CM.

Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to ensure smooth integration of public health systems.
Qualifications

Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Business Analyst (state government/public health project experience preferred).

Strong technical background in data integration and healthcare messaging.

Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with Oracle PL/SQL.

Experience with IIS configuration and Windows Server support.

Understanding of healthcare coding systems (LOINC, SNOMED, ICD-10-CM).

Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Local to Idaho and available for remote work.
