Colorado Christian University (CCU) is hiring a dedicated Business Analyst – Finance to bridge the gap between the Finance department and IT, ensuring optimal performance of the University’s Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP system. As a Business Analyst – Finance, you’ll collaborate with Finance teams to enhance processes, configure ERP tools, manage reporting, and support continuous system improvement. This hybrid or fully remote position offers the opportunity to contribute to a faith-driven educational institution while applying your technical, analytical, and communication expertise to drive financial excellence.


Key Responsibilities of the Business Analyst – Finance

  • Partner with Finance staff to analyze and document business processes, ensuring ERP efficiency and data accuracy.

  • Act as the primary ERP contact for Finance, evaluating change requests and recommending aligned solutions.

  • Build and maintain reports using OTBI or similar tools, ensuring data-driven decision-making across departments.

  • Maintain documentation, test cases, and training materials for Finance ERP processes.

  • Provide end-user support for ERP issues (Tier I and II) and deliver informal training sessions.

  • Collaborate with IT to manage user roles, monitor access requests, and ensure security compliance.

  • Support quarterly updates, testing, and documentation for system improvements and upgrades.


Qualifications for the Business Analyst – Finance Role

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or a related field (preferred).

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in business analysis, ERP systems, or Finance system support.

  • Familiarity with accounting principles and Finance operations.

  • Strong analytical mindset, problem-solving ability, and communication skills.

  • Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and OTBI reporting tools preferred.

  • Experience in higher education or large enterprise systems is advantageous.

  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills across departments.

Work Environment and Location

  • Hybrid preferred: Based in the Denver metro area with on-campus collaboration.

  • Remote option: Available for highly qualified candidates residing within the U.S.

  • Occasional nights or weekends may be required for university events or system updates.


Benefits and Compensation

  • Annual salary range: $60,000 – $85,000, based on experience and qualifications.
