About the Job
The Business Analyst – Finance acts as a bridge between the Finance department and IT, supporting the University’s Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP system. The role involves improving financial processes, managing ERP configurations, reporting, and providing user training. This position reports to the Director of Enterprise Applications and contributes to CCU’s mission of Christ-centered higher education by ensuring the Finance systems effectively support University operations.
Key Responsibilities
Business Process & Improvement

Partner with Finance staff to document and optimize processes.

Act as the primary ERP contact, assessing change requests and recommending solutions aligned with CCU goals.
Reporting & Analytics

Create and maintain financial reports using Oracle OTBI or similar tools.

Collaborate with data teams to produce accurate, data-driven insights.
Documentation & End-User Support

Maintain clear documentation, test cases, and user guides.

Provide training and Tier I & II ERP support for Finance users.
Security & Governance

Assist in managing user roles and access control.

Ensure compliance with university policies and data governance standards.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or related field (preferred).

3+ years of experience in business analysis, ERP systems, or financial system support.

Knowledge of accounting principles and finance operations.

Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP preferred.

Familiarity with Oracle OTBI or similar drag-and-drop reporting tools.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
