Role Overview
This position is part of a core central data analytics project delivery team responsible for ensuring the timely completion of deliverables across multiple workstreams. The role requires sharing subject matter expertise and deep knowledge of business analytics techniques and project execution.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in data analytics combined with sufficient domain knowledge to develop practical, effective, and sustainable solutions.
Primary Responsibilities

Assist the Metrics and Data Controls Lead in building a best-in-class platform that delivers meaningful insights into the root causes of data quality issues, enabling focused remediation efforts to reduce risk.

Develop data and feature specifications based on control outputs and collaborate with technology partners to create new analytics capabilities.

Provide insightful and actionable trend analyses related to Data Quality Indicators to support senior management decision-making.

Plan and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities for newly developed business analytics solutions.

Deliver hands-on technical data support for the Price Risk Metrics and Control Analytics initiative.

Identify risks and issues proactively and resolve or escalate them in a timely and clear manner.

Bring relevant financial industry experience, preferably in Business/Data Control Analytics.

Be a self-starter with a demonstrated ability to quickly adapt and deliver results.

Manage complexity, ambiguity, and a fast-paced, demanding work environment.

Proficient in Python and Jupyter notebooks for data analysis.

Skilled in SQL for data querying and analysis.

Competent in Tableau for data visualization and storytelling through clear, impactful dashboards.

Experience using advanced Tableau reporting and analytics for Control and Business Data Analytics.

Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint.

Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities with a keen eye for detail.
Preferred Skills

Familiarity with control points in Price Risk Front Office valuation processes and their interaction with Market Risk Management and Product Control.

Solid business and data analysis skills.

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.

Experience with Python data science libraries such as SciKit-Learn is an advantage.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey concise and effective messages to senior stakeholders.
