Your New Role
We’re seeking a Data Business Analyst to support the final phase of a multi-year Data & Analytics (D&A) uplift program. This part-time contract position runs through the end of the year, with a flexible schedule of five days per fortnight (e.g., 2 days one week, 3 days the next).

In this role, you’ll collaborate with stakeholders to execute the D&A roadmap—streamlining systems, improving data platforms, and implementing business process enhancements. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading business analysis across complex systems and processes

  • Documenting current and future-state workflows, identifying areas for improvement

  • Defining and managing data integration requirements

  • Supporting agile planning and sprint execution

  • Facilitating stakeholder workshops and change management activities

  • Developing user stories, test plans, and process documentation


What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • A strong technical background, ideally with experience as a BI Developer or Data Scientist before transitioning into business analysis

  • Demonstrated success in data platform integration, analytics delivery, and process improvement

  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement expertise

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and related tools

  • Experience within the higher education sector is highly desirable

  • Availability to work on-site during scheduled workdays
