Your New Role
We’re seeking a Data Business Analyst to support the final phase of a multi-year Data & Analytics (D&A) uplift program. This part-time contract position runs through the end of the year, with a flexible schedule of five days per fortnight (e.g., 2 days one week, 3 days the next).
In this role, you’ll collaborate with stakeholders to execute the D&A roadmap—streamlining systems, improving data platforms, and implementing business process enhancements. Key responsibilities include:

Leading business analysis across complex systems and processes

Documenting current and future-state workflows, identifying areas for improvement

Defining and managing data integration requirements

Supporting agile planning and sprint execution

Facilitating stakeholder workshops and change management activities

Developing user stories, test plans, and process documentation
What You’ll Need to Succeed

A strong technical background, ideally with experience as a BI Developer or Data Scientist before transitioning into business analysis

Demonstrated success in data platform integration, analytics delivery, and process improvement

Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement expertise

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and related tools

Experience within the higher education sector is highly desirable

Availability to work on-site during scheduled workdays
