About the Role
We are seeking a Business Data Analyst I to support documentation, analysis, and administrative functions across multiple business systems. This entry-level position involves preparing technical documentation, supporting financial tasks, and assisting with proposal development for Department of Defense (DoD) projects. The role is ideal for candidates with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with DoD lifecycle management frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and organize information for user manuals, training guides, proposals, and technical reports.

• Edit and maintain system specifications, operational documents, and customer deliverables.

• Support financial and administrative functions for business systems.

• Prepare and maintain systems, programming, and operational documentation.

• Maintain an internal documentation library and coordinate specialized documentation services.

• Conduct detailed analysis of business system functions to support technical documentation.

Minimum Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in documentation and analysis tasks.

• Specialized experience in assembling technical documents and analyzing business systems.

• Knowledge of DoD lifecycle management and related frameworks (DOD 5000.1, 5000.2, DODI 5000.02).

• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Access, Project, and PowerPoint.

• IT-III Non-Sensitive security clearance or Tier 1 (T1) at time of proposal submission.

• Government or defense-related experience preferred.
