About the Role

Boston College is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Development Administrator to join our Adults, Commercial Delivery & Projects Directorate. This role will provide vital administrative support for our growing Distance Learning Department and wider directorate. It’s an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the development and expansion of the College’s remote learning offer.

This part-time position is ideally suited for a proactive individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced, learner-focused environment. You’ll be at the heart of our operations—liaising daily with employers, partner organisations, and learners to ensure smooth delivery and growth of our services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide general and specialised administrative support for the Distance Learning Department and directorate

  • Liaise with external stakeholders including employers, learners, and partner organisations

  • Assist in maintaining accurate and timely data records, including high-volume data entry tasks

  • Support learner enrolment and tracking processes

  • Contribute to departmental reporting, record-keeping, and quality assurance

  • Assist in developing new systems and workflows to enhance team efficiency

  • Respond promptly to queries and assist in resolving issues across departments

  • Confidence using office software and systems (Microsoft Office Suite essential)

Experience in education, administration, or business development is desirable but not essential.
