Overview:
In this role you will be responsible the commercial success of the microbiome testing arm of the company. In the long term, this will mean building and leading a team of salespeople to help drive revenue. You will be expected to contribute to setting a commercial and sales strategy, generate leads, build client relationships, help set targets to hit or exceed revenue forecasts, and ultimately meet customer needs.
Responsibilities:
• Represent the company effectively with comprehensive knowledge of the product portfolio
• Generate new business and establish and nurture client relationships.
• Achieve and hopefully outperform the revenue targets set by the Board.
• Monitor and report relevant KPIs on a weekly basis including weekly sales reports and provide insights on what works and where improvements are necessary
Qualifications
- 2 – 4+ years’ prior industry related business development experience
- Background in biotechnology
- Any experience within microbiomes, sequencing, microbiomes, diagnostics, wellness testing, clinical trials or CROs would be highly beneficial
- Experience within start-ups preffered
