Salary: £36,740 – £43,669 per year
Manda International Logistics Ltd, a UK-based logistics and warehouse service provider, is seeking a proactive Business Development Manager to drive customer acquisition among overseas e-commerce sellers, with a focus on the East Asian market. This role is essential for expanding our client base and promoting our warehousing and logistics services across major UK platforms like Amazon, TikTok Shop, Temu, and eBay.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and acquire new clients, promoting warehousing and fulfilment services to overseas e-commerce sellers, especially those operating on UK platforms.
- Develop targeted sales strategies for East Asian sellers, emphasizing the benefits of local logistics solutions including storage, order fulfilment, returns handling, and product repair.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing ongoing support and ensuring service satisfaction.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay informed on industry trends and customer needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams (warehouse operations, customer service, finance) to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and online platforms, delivering presentations to enhance brand visibility.
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, resolving queries and ensuring long-term cooperation.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or key account management, ideally within logistics, e-commerce, or international trade.
- Strong understanding of cross-border e-commerce platforms (Amazon, TikTok Shop, Temu, eBay) and fulfilment models.
- Background in working with overseas clients, especially in East Asia.
- Fluency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese is essential; strong English communication skills required.
- Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong cultural awareness and ability to work effectively with East Asian clients.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
