Position Summary

The Area Business Development Manager serves as the face of Atlas Healthcare Partners, building and maintaining strong relationships with physician partners and their teams. This role focuses on driving organic growth and strengthening partnerships across assigned ASC locations through collaboration, business analysis, and strategic engagement.

This is a full-time, salaried + commission role ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented professional passionate about business development, customer relations, and process improvement within healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with physicians, ASC leadership, and internal teams to drive business growth and alignment with the Atlas vision.

  • Evaluate existing customer relationships and develop strategic growth plans for operational ASCs.

  • Record sales activity and maintain accurate documentation in Salesforce CRM.

  • Create and manage dashboards to track performance and growth strategies by account.

  • Engage physician practices to strengthen partnerships and optimize ASC relationships.

  • Conduct B2B physician marketing to increase network collaboration and referrals.

  • Network with healthcare industry representatives to identify new business opportunities.

  • Analyze physician practice data to build financial and profitability models.

  • Deliver tailored improvement plans based on physician and ASC needs.

  • Uphold the highest standards of integrity, accountability, and customer service.

Scope and Work Environment

  • Field-based, remote position requiring independent work and daily client interactions.

  • Frequent travel to physician offices and ASC sites.

  • Must be comfortable with executive-level and clinical communications.

  • Reliable vehicle required (mileage reimbursement provided).

  • May require occasional overnight travel.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proven track record of success in a direct sales or business development role (healthcare preferred).

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience building physician or specialty relationships.

  • Strong skills in communication, conflict resolution, and strategic planning.

  • Ability to identify issues, develop solutions, and execute plans independently.

  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Self-driven with a passion for learning, problem-solving, and achieving results.

Preferred Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare, or related field.
