About the Opportunity

As a Business Development Manager, you’ll manage and grow a portfolio of existing registry operator customers while identifying and securing new contracts for registry backend services. You’ll collaborate with customer service and engineering teams and drive new business opportunities through RFPs, direct outreach, and strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a global portfolio of registry operator clients.

  • Lead and respond to RFPs, including documentation and coordination with internal teams.

  • Generate leads and build relationships with potential customers.

  • Support prospects through the gTLD application, delegation, and launch process.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to grow the registry services business.

Skills & Abilities

  • Experience in the domain name industry and knowledge of ICANN processes.

  • Strong communication and relationship management skills.

  • Proven track record in sales or business development.

  • Tech-savvy with an understanding of internet and DNS technologies.

  • Excellent time management and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Energetic, adaptable, and self-driven.

  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in business development or a similar role.

  • Global partner channel experience preferred.

  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales quotas.

  • Technical understanding of domain infrastructure or DNS.

Compensation

Base Salary Range:

  • $99,270 – $110,300 USD (U.S. residents)

  • $90,180 – $100,200 CAD (Canadian residents)
    Ranges vary by location, experience, and qualifications.
