Business Development Manager, West Coast

About the Job

Davines Group is seeking a passionate and results-driven Business Development Manager to help expand our skincare business while promoting our core values of beauty, ethics, and sustainability. This role serves as the primary contact for spa and beauty partners, helping them stay informed about new products, launches, and strategies while driving sales and growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve and exceed sales, productivity, and brand objectives within the assigned territory.

  • Serve as the main liaison for resorts, day spas, medical spas, salons, boutiques, and apothecaries.

  • Develop an account visit strategy to ensure effective client engagement.

  • Collaborate with the Education Team to coordinate customized training for partners.

  • Communicate promotions, launches, and initiatives to spa partners.

  • Evaluate sales and training outcomes, suggesting improvements proactively.

  • Generate qualified leads and convert them into long-term clients.

  • Complete administrative tasks such as expense reports, calendars, and event recaps on time.

  • Identify challenges and create strategic action plans to overcome them.

  • Maximize revenue and volume through promotional campaigns.

  • Participate in social and environmental initiatives supporting sustainability.

Qualifications / Skills Required

  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in the spa or beauty industry.

  • Proven record of sales success and new business development.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Understanding of sales strategy, retail culture, and product education.

  • Self-disciplined, independent worker with excellent time management.

  • Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and hold a valid driver’s license.

Travel Requirements

  • Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time, including overnights and weekends.

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
