About the Role

As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you’ll play a key role in driving our growth by generating new business opportunities. You’ll be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and converting leads into Sales Qualified Opportunities (SQOs) for the Sales team. Your daily activities will involve proactive outreach, strong communication, and effective relationship building with Mid-Market and Enterprise prospects.

This role is best suited for motivated, coachable individuals who love to connect with people, learn quickly, and embrace challenge with a positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively source, qualify, and nurture leads from inbound and outbound campaigns

  • Convert qualified leads into Sales Qualified Opportunities (SQOs)

  • Maintain and manage assigned leads using CRM tools (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, Salesloft)

  • Engage with prospects via calls, emails, and other outreach channels

  • Communicate Dotdigital’s value proposition clearly and confidently

  • Collaborate closely with the Sales, Marketing, and BDR teams to ensure lead quality and alignment

  • Meet and exceed monthly SQO targets

  • Provide timely, accurate reporting on your pipeline, outreach efforts, and performance

About You

Required Qualifications:

  • Native-level English fluency (written and spoken)

  • Positive, proactive, and self-motivated mindset

  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities

  • Willingness to learn, take feedback, and grow in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent time management and task execution skills

Preferred (Bonus) Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in sales or customer-facing roles (ideally SaaS or tech)

  • Experience in competitive environments (sports, performance-based teams, etc.)

  • Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesloft, Dynamics, Cognism, etc.)

  • Understanding of BDR best practices and processes

  • General understanding of ecommerce and digital marketing automation
