- Prepare financial plans aligned with annual budgets, revenue goals, and quarterly forecasts.
- Develop long-term financial strategies focusing on growth, efficiency, and profitability.
- Act as the primary liaison between field operations and corporate finance teams.
- Conduct monthly and quarterly financial analyses to compare actual performance with targets.
- Oversee headcount authorizations, wage plan evaluations, and expenditure approvals.
- Provide financial insights for contracts, proposals, and capital investments.
- Maintain effective accounting controls and ensure compliance with company standards.
Qualifications for Business Finance Manager
To succeed as a Business Finance Manager, you should bring strong financial acumen and leadership expertise.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (MBA or MPA preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Accounting or Financial Management.
- Advanced Excel and analytical skills for financial modeling and data-driven insights.

- Medicaid finance experience is a plus.
