Job Description

The Business Impact Analyst will play a key role in developing and executing business impact analyses (BIAs) across various departments within the organization. This position involves assessing business operations, technology dependencies, and third-party service integrations to enhance business continuity and resiliency. The ideal candidate will have experience in risk analysis, technology assessments, and business continuity planning.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of BIAs across multiple business units.
  • Analyze critical business operations, technology dependencies, and third-party service integrations.
  • Develop and implement structured frameworks, templates, and project plans for BIA execution.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to facilitate discussions and gather essential insights.
  • Conduct enterprise-wide technology mapping, focusing on transaction flows and dependencies.
  • Prepare and deliver final BIA reports, summarizing key findings and recommending areas for improvement.
  • Ensure BIAs remain maintainable and easily updatable by respective business areas.
  • Support business resiliency efforts and contribute to broader risk management strategies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in business continuity planning, risk analysis, and technology impact assessments.
  • Strong understanding of business operations, transaction flows, and third-party integrations.
  • Ability to develop structured templates and frameworks for BIA documentation.
  • Excellent collaboration and facilitation skills to engage cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in the financial services or banking industry.
