About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst / Subject Matter Expert (SME) to bridge the gap between business and technology teams, focusing on Veeva Network/VOD integration within the pharmaceutical sector. This role involves gathering, refining, and documenting business requirements while ensuring alignment with commercial business processes, data management, and integration best practices.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Conduct workshops and stakeholder interviews to capture business needs.
✔ Translate complex requirements into functional specifications, workflows, and interface designs.
✔ Identify deployment gaps and refine business demands for seamless integration.
✔ Support backlog refinement and Agile/SCRUM development processes.
✔ Oversee data cleansing, matching, and migration activities for integration.
✔ Act as a liaison between business and IT teams, ensuring smooth collaboration.
✔ Validate business processes and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
✔ Facilitate integration design discussions and oversee compliance with pharma industry regulations.
✔ Ensure all Software Life Cycle (SLC) documentation aligns with product lifecycle requirements.
✔ Serve as First Point of Contact (FPOC) between linked initiatives, ensuring alignment across milestones and timelines.
✔ Provide subject matter expertise (SME) to support business strategy discussions.
Qualifications & Experience
✔ 5+ years as a Business Analyst or SME within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
✔ Strong expertise in Veeva Network/VOD integrations and commercial business processes.
✔ Experience in data management, including cleansing, matching, and migration.
✔ Proficiency in functional specification documentation, workflow design, and interface mapping.
✔ Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM methodologies and backlog refinement.
✔ Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and problem-solving skills.
✔ Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validation activities.
