We’re hiring a Business Support Officer (Technology, Digital & Comms) to join our dynamic Street Services Business Support Team based at the Birchmere Centre in Thamesmead. As a Business Support Officer (Technology, Digital & Comms), you’ll help maintain and improve the digital systems and communication tools that support frontline waste and street services. This full-time role offers a competitive salary of £31,524 to £32,931, great public service benefits, and the chance to make a real impact in a fast-paced local government team.
Key Responsibilities of Business Support Officer (Technology, Digital & Comms)
As part of a busy team, you’ll play a vital role in managing IT support, communication, and digital transformation within Street Services.
Your Main Duties:

Assist with distributing digital communications across the service.

Maintain the IT asset register and user access logs.

Act as a contact point for IT equipment repairs, replacements, and requests.

Support regular data cleansing and audit activities.

Help coordinate system updates and ensure training materials remain current.

Organise and update the digital newsletter for the Street Services department.
