Responsibilities

Ensure the operation complies with state and federal regulations (e.g., FDA-approved Standard Operating Procedures, OSHA, CLIA, GMP) to maintain high production standards and facility compliance.

Assist in conducting internal and external inspections by regulatory agencies and customers.

Collaborate on quality improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.

Work with relevant departments to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to resolve identified issues.

Address and resolve safety concerns to maintain a safe working environment.

Oversee preventive maintenance of donor center equipment to ensure it is well-maintained and fully operational.

Prepare product shipments, ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures.

Assist in achieving production targets related to both quantity and quality while optimizing operational costs, including inventory management.

Provide feedback for employee performance evaluations, performance improvement plans, development plans, and corrective actions as needed.

Collaborate in employment decisions such as hiring, promotions, demotions, and terminations to align with both employee and business needs.

Regularly conduct thorough area walkthroughs, ensuring a visible presence in production zones.

Assist with scheduling and payroll records to optimize the allocation of employee hours.

Help coordinate staff and leadership meetings to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements
-
Complete training in all production areas.
-
A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred; however, other combinations of education and experience may be considered.
-
1+ years of operations and/or process management/supervisory experience is preferred.
-
At least 1 year of people management experience, including recruiting and training, is required.
-
Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.

Background in financial management and/or budgeting is preferred.
-
Ability to work flexible hours, including daytime, evening, weekends, holidays, extended shifts, and after-hours when necessary.
