Care Assistant Responsibilities

As a Care Assistant, you will support residents with their personal care needs while promoting independence and dignity. Your key duties will include:

  • Assisting with daily hygiene, dressing, and toileting routines

  • Supporting residents at mealtimes and ensuring overall well-being

  • Observing and reporting changes in health such as falls, infections, or weight loss

  • Practicing safe working methods in line with care home policies

  • Maintaining a respectful and compassionate attitude toward residents and visitors
