Join Our Team as a Caretaker (Full Time)
We are seeking a dedicated Caretaker (full time) to join our support staff team at Christchurch Infant School. In this crucial role, you will maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. As a Caretaker (full time), you will manage maintenance, security, and cleanliness, ensuring our school remains a great place to learn and work.
Caretaker (Full Time) – Key Responsibilities

Site Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections, manage repairs, and maintain school facilities.

Safety and Security: Serve as a keyholder, ensuring premises are secure during and after hours.

Handyperson Duties: Perform minor repairs (painting, plumbing, fitting shelves, etc.) to maintain school standards.

Contractor Liaison: Act as the main point of contact for maintenance contractors.

Cleanliness and Hygiene: Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the school premises.

Competitive Salary: £25,183 – £26,409 per annum, with a pay award pending.

Location and Working Hours

School: Christchurch Infant School.

Working Hours: 37 hours per week, year-round.

Monday: 7:30am-11:00am & 2:00pm-6:00pm.

Tuesday-Friday: 7:30am-11:00am & 2:30pm-6:00pm.

Additional evening lock-ups as required.
