About the Role

Holder Construction is seeking experienced Carpenters to join our project team in Columbus, OH. As a Carpenter, you will perform skilled carpentry work on commercial construction projects, including rough carpentry, concrete work, and finish carpentry. You’ll play a key role in supporting field supervision, maintaining jobsite safety, and ensuring high-quality craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform rough and finish carpentry, concrete activities, wall paneling, casework, and trim.

• Construct and maintain handrails, ladders, weather enclosures, and safety protections.

• Read and interpret construction drawings.

• Support field supervision with daily tasks and problem-solving.

• Work safely in compliance with OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of carpentry experience required.

• Ability to read construction drawings.

• OSHA 10, fall protection, and aerial lift training (preferred).

• High school diploma or GED (preferred).

• Strong teamwork, time management, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to lift 50–100 lbs. regularly and work at heights or on uneven surfaces.

• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
