About the Job
Clark Construction is hiring skilled Carpenters to build and assemble rough wooden structures including concrete forms, scaffolds, frameworks, and supports. This role requires reading blueprints, measuring materials, cutting wood or metal, and assembling frameworks to ensure safe and precise construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints, diagrams, and oral instructions to determine project dimensions.

• Measure, cut, and assemble lumber, plywood, or metal to construct frameworks and concrete forms.

• Anchor and brace structures using nails, bolts, rods, wedges, and steel cables.

• Operate hand and power tools such as saws, drills, and woodworking machines.

• Erect and dismantle forms, scaffolds, ladders, hoists, and roof supports.

• Bore bolt holes in wood, masonry, or concrete for secure installations.

• Fabricate parts with woodworking and metalworking equipment.

• Dig or oversee the installation of post holes and set poles for structural support.

Qualifications

• Apprentice certificate required for apprentices.

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly and safely perform strenuous physical tasks.

• Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and on uneven terrain.

• Frequent bending, kneeling, climbing, and repetitive motions required.

Work Environment

• Outdoor construction sites with exposure to varying weather conditions.

• High noise levels, dust, vibrations, and moving heavy equipment.

• Strict adherence to safety policies and use of PPE required.

• Overtime may be required based on project deadlines.
