About the Role
WRN Construction is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Carpenter Improver to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with some experience in carpentry, loft conversions, or general building work who wants to grow their skills while working on a variety of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

Assist skilled tradespeople with various construction tasks, including:

Carpentry
-
Joinery
-
Loft conversions
-
Extensions
-
Masonry
-
-
Help fabricate and install wooden structures such as frames, floors, and roofs

Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively

Perform basic joinery tasks under supervision

Maintain clean and organised job sites

Assist with moving materials and equipment

Follow all on-site health and safety procedures
What We’re Looking For

Some experience in the building or construction trade (carpentry experience preferred)

Keen interest in carpentry or general construction with a strong willingness to learn

Comfortable using hand and power tools (training provided)

Physically fit and able to lift/move materials

Dependable and punctual with a good attitude

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Driving licence preferred (essential for future progression into van use and site responsibilities)

Willingness to travel across London (E, N, SE postcodes)
