Cashier

Position Summary
As a Cashier at Floor & Decor, you’re the first and last point of contact for our customers. Your role is to deliver an exceptional experience through friendly service, accurate transactions, and helpful product guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping experience

• Operate the POS system to complete purchases, returns, and exchanges

• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need

• Follow safety guidelines and company policies

• Support merchandising and signage as needed

• Answer phones and assist with basic store operations

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older

• Basic math skills required

• Customer service experience preferred

• Willingness to occasionally travel to nearby stores

Work Environment

• Typically a quiet to moderate retail setting

• Occasional exposure to warehouse conditions and moving vehicles

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 20–50 lbs occasionally, and up to 25 lbs frequently

• Regular use of hands, standing, walking, and occasional bending or lifting

Hours of Operation

• Store Hours:
  Mon–Fri: 7 AM – 8 PM | Sat: 8 AM – 7 PM | Sun: 10 AM – 6 PM

• Pickup Hours:
  Mon–Fri: 7 AM – 7 PM | Sat–Sun: Same as store hours
