About the Role
Join Canteen as a Cashier/Food Service Worker and help create a welcoming dining experience! You will operate the point-of-sale system, assist the chef, prepare food and beverages, and maintain clean, organized stations. Key Responsibilities

Operate POS system and handle cashier duties with accuracy.

Assist in food preparation including meats, vegetables, baked goods, desserts, and catering orders.

Serve hot and cold items to customers efficiently and courteously.

Maintain cleanliness of cashier and coffee stations, perform general cleaning, and remove trash.

Inventory, restock supplies, and rotate food products using the first-in, first-out method.

Set up serving lines and ensure food temperatures are within safe ranges.

Prepare and replenish items daily, maintaining organized storage and refrigerator stock.

Perform other duties as assigned to support smooth cafe operations.
Qualifications

Prior food service experience required; willingness to train available.

Ability to operate POS systems and follow established cash handling procedures.

Strong attention to detail and excellent customer service skills.

Ability to lift, stock, and maintain inventory as needed.
