About the Role:

Kirklees Council is recruiting a Catering Assistant to join the kitchen team at All Saints High School, helping provide fresh and nutritious meals daily in a supportive school environment.
This is a perfect role for those seeking work-life balance, with term-time only hours, no evenings or weekends, and paid holidays at Christmas and on Bank Holidays. You’ll be part of a valued team that plays a crucial role in keeping students nourished and ready to learn.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities Will Include:

Preparing and serving hot and cold meals in line with healthy eating guidelines

Supporting food hygiene, kitchen cleanliness, and food safety procedures

Helping set up and clean the food service area

Collaborating with the school catering team to ensure smooth daily service

Being flexible and supporting teams across various school locations when needed

Some previous kitchen or catering experience is helpful, but not essential
