About the Role
We’re searching for a Catering Event Supervisor (Event Lead) to join our Catering Division. In this role, you’ll lead on-site catering teams, oversee event setup and breakdown, and ensure every detail exceeds client expectations. Key Responsibilities

Review and interpret BEOs, timelines, floor plans, and checklists to guide setup and service.

Supervise event setup and breakdown of food stations, service areas, décor, and rentals.

Manage logistics such as food delivery timing, staff assignments, and setup coordination.

Lead, delegate, and motivate a catering team of 5–20 staff, ensuring professionalism and service excellence.

Act as the onsite liaison between SaltBlock, clients, planners, and venue representatives.

Partner with culinary leads to align service pacing with event flow.

Oversee beverage service and maintain responsible alcohol compliance.

Submit post-event reports for continuous improvement.

Cross-train in related roles and actively participate in training.
What We’re Looking For

Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to make confident decisions under pressure.

Customer-facing hospitality or catering experience (minimum 6 months).

Ability to adapt in real-time to guest needs and logistical challenges.

Professional, polished, and detail-oriented with a team-first mindset.

Florida Food Handler’s License (required before first shift).

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and irregular schedules.

Physically able to lift 30 lbs. and stand/walk for long periods.

Valid driver’s license (box truck training provided).

Bilingual skills a plus, but not required.
Compensation & Benefits

Pay: $22–$26 per hour + gratuity opportunities
