Role Overview
Sodexo is hiring a dynamic Catering Manager to lead and grow our on-campus catering operations, generating approximately $500K in annual sales. The right candidate will bring proven experience in higher education or corporate dining, strong catering sales expertise, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of catering operations, including food production, inventory, deliveries, invoices, and procurement.

Lead the catering sales process and collaborate with clients to design and execute successful events.

Supervise and develop catering staff, ensuring performance standards, schedules, and payroll accuracy (Kronos).

Maintain food and workplace safety in compliance with Sodexo standards and regulations.

Monitor budgets and control costs in labor, materials, and inventory.

Foster collaboration between culinary, sales, and service teams to deliver seamless events.
Qualifications

Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience.

Minimum 2 years of management experience.

Minimum 1 year in food service or catering (restaurant, corporate dining, or institutional services).

Strong financial, negotiation, and team-building skills.
