Role Overview

Sodexo is hiring a dynamic Catering Manager to lead and grow our on-campus catering operations, generating approximately $500K in annual sales. The right candidate will bring proven experience in higher education or corporate dining, strong catering sales expertise, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of catering operations, including food production, inventory, deliveries, invoices, and procurement.

  • Lead the catering sales process and collaborate with clients to design and execute successful events.

  • Supervise and develop catering staff, ensuring performance standards, schedules, and payroll accuracy (Kronos).

  • Maintain food and workplace safety in compliance with Sodexo standards and regulations.

  • Monitor budgets and control costs in labor, materials, and inventory.

  • Foster collaboration between culinary, sales, and service teams to deliver seamless events.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum 2 years of management experience.

  • Minimum 1 year in food service or catering (restaurant, corporate dining, or institutional services).

  • Strong financial, negotiation, and team-building skills.
