CDL A Truck Driver

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a commercial truck to transport goods and materials to specified destinations.

• Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance to ensure the truck remains in optimal working condition.

• Comply with all traffic laws, safety protocols, and transportation regulations.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date logs of driving hours, mileage, and delivery details.

• Assist with loading and unloading of cargo as needed.

• Maintain clear and professional communication with dispatchers and team members to coordinate routes and schedules.

• Ensure full compliance with HAZMAT regulations when transporting hazardous materials.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license required.

• Demonstrated experience operating commercial trucks; previous industry-related experience preferred.

• Knowledge of HAZMAT transport regulations; certification a strong advantage.

• Familiarity with handling roofing materials or similar types of cargo is preferred.

• Experience operating mobile cranes is a plus.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly Pay: $27 – $32, based on experience (DOE)

• Work Hours: 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM

• Paid Time Off: 3 weeks
