Central Market is calling all Artisan Bakers with a passion for scratch baking and customer service excellence! We’re seeking a skilled Bakery Manager to lead our bakery team, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and ensure product quality and innovation in our Dallas location.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Management

Make strategic decisions related to hiring, training, promoting, and evaluating bakery Partners

Conduct interviews, performance reviews, and training programs

Develop and lead a high-performing team that delivers top-level customer service

Create and manage department schedules
Sales & Merchandising
-
Promote and sell bakery products through special events and in-store promotions

Merchandise bakery items to ensure appealing displays and maximum sales
-
Ensure products are in-stock, visually appealing, and of high quality

Maintain vendor relationships and collaborate with other departments
Operations
-
Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and freshness standards

Monitor labor, shrink, and other budgeted expenses

Oversee ordering, forecasting, and production planning

Lead inventory control and assortment planning

Generate new sales opportunities and nurture existing client relationships
Qualifications
-
Proven experience in bakery operations and team management
-
Experience leading at least 10 bakers and training new hires

Scratch production baking experience preferred

Strong planning, organizational, and analytical skills

Proficiency with computer systems and financial metrics (e.g., sales, GP%)

Passion for food, service, and selling

Completion of Central Market University preferred
