Key Responsibilities
Direct Patient Support

Assist patients with personal care activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene.

Aid patients with meals, ensuring proper nutrition and support with prescribed medication routines.

Safely transfer and reposition patients, supporting mobility and physical activity as needed.
Clinical Monitoring & Reporting

Measure and record vital signs accurately.

Observe and document changes in patient behavior or condition, reporting promptly to nursing staff.

Implement safety protocols to prevent falls, bedsores, and ensure overnight comfort.
Environment & Readiness

Prepare patient rooms by stocking necessary medical supplies and ensuring a clean, safe environment.

Maintain compliance with infection control procedures and facility standards.
Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or GED required

Licensure: Valid New York State CNA license

Certification: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a clinical or long-term care environment

Skills: Compassionate, detail-oriented, excellent communication, and strong teamwork skills

Availability: Must be able to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays
