Job Description

Reporting to the Pelco Regional Sales Director for the Southwest, the Channel Sales Executive serves as the primary contact for all Pelco sales initiatives within their designated territory. This role focuses on building and maintaining strong relationships with end-users, executing sales strategies, and driving business growth to meet revenue targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify and engage new accounts.
  • Develop new business opportunities with end customers through our partner channel.
  • Achieve or exceed assigned revenue and project quotas for Pelco products and services.
  • Effectively promote and market Pelco’s offerings within the assigned territory and key accounts.
  • Support sales efforts by identifying, nurturing, and responding to new opportunities for Pelco solutions.
  • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Conduct sales calls, coordinate local promotional activities, and track sales progress.
  • Design and execute targeted marketing strategies, including campaigns, trade shows, sales tools, social media outreach, and customer interactions.
  • Collaborate with vertical marketing teams to identify engagement opportunities through industry associations, conferences, and tradeshows.
  • Lead the development of video and analytics solutions tailored to end-user needs while coordinating with internal teams and partners.
  • Engage in daily prospecting using all available tools to drive new business opportunities.
  • Work closely with the North American Sales Team to identify key partners, integrators, and customers, equipping them with resources to effectively position Pelco in the market.
  • Establish trusted advisor relationships with customers and channel partners to enhance business development.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasting as required.
  • Maintain CRM records to track new and existing account development.
  • Design and implement a comprehensive business plan for named accounts in the critical infrastructure sector (utilities, oil & gas, energy, mining, and water ports).
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in technical solutions sales.
  • Background in physical security solutions is a plus.
  • Experience with channel strategies and initiatives preferred.
  • Industry sales experience in utilities, oil & gas, energy, mining, and water ports is highly desirable.
  • Strong technical acumen with the ability to effectively communicate Pelco’s product and solution offerings.
  • Proven ability to accurately forecast revenue on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering sales results and fostering collaborative relationships.
  • Deep understanding of go-to-market strategies and sales methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional time management skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft and Google Apps, particularly Excel/Sheets.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Strong computer proficiency with the ability to quickly learn and demonstrate new software.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory.
  • An established client base within the region is a plus.
