Job Description

Reporting to Avigilon’s Regional Sales Director, the Channel Sales Executive, Video serves as the primary point of contact for all video solution sales initiatives within the assigned territory. This role focuses on managing relationships with Avigilon Channel Partners, implementing strategic sales actions, and driving business growth to meet territory revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new business opportunities with end customers through the partner channel.
  • Achieve or exceed revenue and project quotas for Avigilon products and services.
  • Promote and market Avigilon’s solutions within the designated territory and named accounts.
  • Support sales efforts by identifying, nurturing, and responding to opportunities for Avigilon products and services.
  • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline.
  • Conduct sales calls, coordinate local promotional activities, and track sales performance.
  • Prioritize new account acquisition and development.
  • Collaborate with vertical marketing teams to identify end-user engagement opportunities through industry associations, conferences, and trade shows.
  • Lead the development of video and analytics solutions that align with customer needs, ensuring seamless collaboration with relevant company and partner personnel.
  • Engage in daily prospecting efforts utilizing all available tools to drive success.
  • Establish “Trusted Advisor” relationships with customers and Channel Partners to enhance system development and business expansion.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasting as required.
  • Maintain up-to-date CRM data for both new and existing accounts.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in video security solutions sales.
  • Prior experience in physical security solutions is a plus.
  • Familiarity with channel strategies and initiatives.
  • Strong technical acumen with the ability to articulate product and solution benefits.
  • Proven ability to forecast revenue on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and fostering collaborative relationships.
  • Deep understanding of Avigilon’s go-to-market strategy and sales approach.
  • Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft and Google Apps, particularly Excel/Sheets.
  • Exceptional presentation skills.
  • Strong computer proficiency with the ability to learn and demonstrate new software effectively.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory.
