Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a wide range of dishes including appetizers, entrees, and desserts

  • Handle all aspects of food prep including chopping, grilling, roasting, baking, and soup/stock production

  • Follow established recipes and culinary direction from the Lead Chef

  • Ensure all food is cooked in a timely manner with appealing presentation

  • Monitor food freshness and ensure proper storage and rotation

  • Maintain compliance with all kitchen health and safety regulations

  • Create and manage prep lists to support kitchen efficiency

  • Assist in experimenting with new recipes and ingredients to elevate the menu


What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a high-volume kitchen

  • Hands-on experience with various kitchen tools and cooking techniques

  • Strong knowledge of culinary fundamentals and food safety standards

  • Ability to perform under pressure and multitask effectively

  • Excellent time management and attention to detail

  • Valid Food Handler’s Card

  • Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills

  • Ability to open/close kitchen operations and complete side duties independently

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with baking and pastry preparation

Compensation
Hourly Rate: $24.00 – $30.00 (California)
